JACK provides awareness on lifesaving and empower to the individual communities on WASH, child protection, health care, nutrition, and education through community engagement, and community platforms with the several group of community structure and influencers which (7,000) people are engaged and around (50,000) people are reached in Four districts (in Almar, Qaisar, Maimana, and Shirin Tagab districts of Faryab province.
Since the beginning of the SBC program, 7 trainings (AAP, CRC, Gender-responsive, PSEA, AAP to social mobilizers, and IPC) have been conducted in different sections with the participation of internal staff and influential persons of society (CDC, religious leaders, Journalists, Youth, CHW, CHS, NC, GMG ….) in Almar, Qaisar, Maimana, and Shirin Tagab districts of Faryab province.
The first training conducted to community platforms was AAP. The main objective of this training was Introducing the SBC program convey the basics of AAP to collective harmed communities in a humanitarian response. Total numbers of participants in four districts are 78.
Second, Capacity building program of journalists, and influential on CRC, risk communication and media programming sensitive to children rights held to engage influential person on SBC program and be an active part of this program. Total numbers of participants in four districts are 100.
Third, SBC Workforce Gender- Responsive Capacity Building Program which aimed to recognize behavioral and verbal violence against vulnerable people, Study the Position of Women from the Perspective of Islam and assessment the ways to prevent sexual harassment. Total numbers of participants are 64.
Fourth, PSEA training for staffs which define the UN standards of conduct on sexual exploitation and abuse and understand the obligations as personnel. Describe how to report sexual exploitation and abuse.
Total number of participants were 26. Fifth, GMG training the main goals were enhancing the awareness of grandmothers on Covid-19 and rumor misinformation management and to cascade their learned knowledge and information to local mothers.
Total number of participants were 50. Sixth, 2 days Basic Training on SBC and AAP for Social Mobilizers, the SBC section has set the goal of strengthening the ability of Social Mobilizers through training program to equip and able them with SBC intervention information and techniques to covey messages in a great way to people and Success SBC program in four districts of Fayab province. Total number of participants were 26. The last one is interpersonal communication training (IPC). Emphasis on improving interpersonal skills and increasing communication competence in everyday social exchanges. Total number of participant are 43.
Therefore, JACK organization has plan and aim by conducting trainings to improve the individual’s level of awareness, increase an individual’s skill in one or more areas of expertise, and Increase an individual’s motivation to perform their job well be an active part of society to transfer their knowledge to people and develop and safe community from backward.
