A coordination meeting of health centers at the PHC (Primary Health Care) level was held at the Kandahar provincial office of the JACK organization. Dr. Abdul Salam Bawarzai, the Provincial Officer of the Kandahar Province JACK organization, welcomed the delegation and participants, emphasizing the importance and key topics of the meeting.
Dr. Hafeezullah Khalilzoi leading the delegation from JACK’s head office, addressed the participants.
In his speech, he encouraged and praised the staff of the health centers for providing standard services.
Dr. Khalilzoi highlighted the necessity of properly utilizing medicines and both medical and non-medical equipment.
He commended the provincial office officials for their timely supply of medicines, RUTF, vaccines, food, and other necessary items, recognizing their efforts as exemplary.
Dr. Shahab Patan, Technical Officer of the HER Project in Kandahar province, also addressed the participants.
He discussed the value of the meeting and the importance of supervisors in resolving technical problems in health centers.
Representing the UNICEF administration, Dr. Ajmal Habibi’s address encouraged the participants to diligently perform their duties and thanked the provincial officials for promptly addressing various problems and providing excellent health services.
The meeting participants shared their problems and suggestions, receiving assurances that these issues would be addressed promptly.
