Build effective working relationships with relevant line departments to support and build their capacity to assume ever-greater responsibility for JACK implementation, support the JACK to establish, align, coordinate and monitor annual, quarterly and monthly work plans and budgets, ensure implementation and use of tools and processes for timely measuring and documentation of qualitative and quantitative project performance against work plans and budgets, logical framework, contracts and MoUs, on a regular basis, prepare/approve provincial works plans and approve district work plans, and regularly follow up the work plans in team meetings, monitor program activities through regular field visits, ensuring quality control and compliance with operations manual, ensure that CDCs/CCDCs are linked with line departments, NGOs, and other stakeholders, responsible for overall performance and management of JACK’s provincial staff to deliver program, ensuring program quality, program impact and its development in line with priorities agreed with clients, and other relevant agencies, set in place a monthly progress review and planning mechanism for the project team, which will be followed though detailed monthly activity plans, monitor proper utilization of the project budget on monthly basis and prepare budget variance analysis report, ensure regular and effective coordinate is in place with provincial stakeholders, any other tasks assigned by General/Deputy Director.
Assists with the development and implementation of a comprehensive funds development program with current grant programs/funders along with foundations and new sources as determined. Manages and assists with developing resources for general operating, salary and property related funds,oversees compliance so that we remain in good standing with all funder/government/partner requirements,tracks and reports all general operating and salary related resources,the incumbent demonstrates a passion for the mission of the organization, dedication to the customers we serve and enables excellent client and partner relations, focuses of continual process and operations improvements, oversees daily operations, planning, quality control, and develops and monitors the use of resources,creates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), develops tracking and reporting processes and tools, and develops information flows, manage HR lifecycle - from resource planning, to recruiting, onboarding, performance management and professional development, selected candidate will actively engage direct reports to develop business goals, track progress toward goals, and increase their effectiveness and efficiency of leaders.
The General Director is ultimately responsible for the overall management of the organization and all aspects of the organization’s operations. This primarily involves the supervision and coordination of a volunteer service program which provides JACK services to abused and neglected children, resource development and maintenance,organization and program planning, community and public relations, personnel management, organization liaison to the Board of Directors, and fiscal management. Develop, implement, and maintain tracking systems and/or for both volunteer and caseload files, develop and initiate time-oriented strategic plans to establish organization goals (e.g., 1-year, 5- year, 10-year plans).Review program/organization progress and compare to goals and objective, assure organization compliance with National and International standards. Attend all Board meetings, oversee implementation of all Board directives, policies, and procedures, and serve as liaison between Board and organization staff, monitor Board/Committee activities and attend committee meetings, manage day-to-day fiscal operations, submit monthly and quarterly financial reports to grantors (as required), review and approve all monthly and quarterly reports and documentation to substantiate those reports, submit bills and expenditures to the treasurer for reimbursement and accounting, assist in developing organization annual budget.
